This building was named for media magnate and philanthropist Walter Annenberg and his wife Leonore. The two-story building featuring a sky-lit rotunda houses a 485-seat theater and several classrooms on both floors. The building was originally surrounded by a lake. Over the years the center has been host to many international forums attended by some of the foremost scientists in the world, including Nobel Prize winners.
