Recipe for Dinner
15 ml/1 tbsp fine cornmeal
30 ml/2 tbsp sugar
450 ml/1/2 oz/1/2 cup milk
2.5 ml/1/2 tsp vanilla essence (extract)
Mix the cornmeal and sugar together and make a smooth paste with a little of the milk. Heat the rest of the milk in a saucepan. Pour on to the cornmeal paste, add the vanilla essence and return to the pan. Bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring all the time.
