Recipe for Dinner
300 ml/1/2 pt/1/2 cups Mayonnaise ( 305)
30 ml/2 tbsp tomato puree (paste)
1 canned pimiento cap, finely chopped
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Mix together all the ingredients and chill until ready to serve.
250 ml/8 oz/1 cup Mayonnaise ( 305)
1 garlic clove, crushed 1 bunch of spring onions (scallions), finely chopped 15 mill tbsp chopped tarragon 30 ml/2 tbsp chopped parsley 10 ml/2 tsp lemon juice 120 ml/4 oz/ 1 cup soured (dairy sour) cream
5 ml/1 tsp caster (superfine) sugar Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Blend all the ingredients together, seasoning to taste with salt and pepper. Taste again and spike with a little more lemon juice, if liked.
