Recipe for Dinner
Make as for Tequila a la Sancho but put all the ingredients in a blender or food processor with 2 large ripe bananas. Blend until smooth. Divide between six tall glasses and top up with chilled ginger ale. Stir well and serve.
1.75 litres/3 pts/71/2 cups water 300 ml/1/2 pt/1/2 cups heather honey
3 pineapple slices
4 large peaches
1 small bunch of black (purple) grapes, seeded 300 ml/1/2 pt/1/2 cups strong tea
1 piece of cinnamon stick
300 ml/1/2 pt/1/2 cups brandy or whisky
Pare the rind from one lemon, one lime and one orange, then squeeze the juice from all the lemons, limes and oranges. Reserve the juice and place the rind in a saucepan with the water. Bring to the boil and stir in the honey until dissolved. Simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the lemon, lime and orange juices. Add all the remaining ingrehients and stir well. 3 hours, then transfer to a large punch bowl to serve.
