Several of the flats colour scheme! were inspired by fabrics suggested by Sues sister-in-law, Angela ACourt, an interior designer and skilled needlewoman. Between them they covered sofas and chairs, and made all manner of curtains, cushions, TOP: the cheerful dining room is enhanced by framed pieces of Sues brightly coloured work. DINING FOR COUPLES SINGAPORE The chest was originally a dresser from After Noah, but Sue removed the top to make it less dominant. ABOVE: some examples of Sues work. RIGHT: although the maple kitchen units were already in place and just needed a thorough sanding and polishing, Sue and Andy added further storage and shelving. Sue designed the floor herself and had the lino laser-cut by Forbo-Nairn. RIGHT: a chair from Judy Greenwood has been upholstered in a Designers Guild fabric.
