Starting at the Buffelsfontein Visitor Centre, this route has splendid views across False Bay and Buffels Bay Beach. It makes its way past the restored lime kiln, dating back to about 1890, to Kanonkop, the old signalling cannon used to report ship arrivals in False Bay in days of the Dutch East India Company.
