Pure bliss-the emerald-tiled rectangular pool, with its open wooden deck, nestles amid the dense tropical foliage.
From an unusual flat-roofed bale at the entrance to the compound, one enjoys a wide-angle view of the swimming pool and the luxuriant valley beyond.
The outdoor dining area also offers an uninterrupted view of the tropical valley scenery.
In the indoor dining area, BALI HOUSE DESIGN OPEN CONCEPT an oversized mirror framed in dark stained ironwood rests on a solid teakwood console with dark coconut-trunk legs. On the right a standing coconut trunk sculpture completes the strong trendy-ethnic composition.
A pleasantly patterned partition in teak and mirror, located inside the many niches, functions as a headboard in the second-storey master bedroom. The two standing lamps, designed by Jaya Ibrahim, together with the rattan chaise and ottoman, add an art deco accent.
